Chucker Twining has lived in Pinecrest and Strawberry, California virtually all of his life. That is except for a few years in the 1960s when he attended college in San Francisco.
Chucker grew up at the Pinecrest Chalet located in the Stanislaus National Forest which his family built in the early 1950s. He is an accomplished skier and has been a member of the National Ski Patrol for over 25 years. He's also a sailor, a snow mobilier, and a pilot. He also serves his community as president of the Tuolumne County Board of Education. He's been a member since 1998. Married to Debi for more than 30 years, they have two children who now attend college.
His job is selling real estate and for the past 15 years, he's been doing just that in Twain Harte. He can be found at the office beneath the Twain Harte Arch on most days.
